AnderSonix was founded over 15 years ago by Timothy J. Anderson, an audio engineer, sound designer and composer working in and around the New York Metropolitan area. Mr. Anderson holds a Masters degree from New York University in music composition, and he received his Bachelors degree in studio engineering and music production from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. In addition to projects for AnderSonix, he is a freelance engineer at studios around the New York area. He teaches audio postproduction to MFA candidate computer animators at NYU and the School of Visual Arts, and to undergraduates in the Music Technology Department at Mercy College in White Plains. His expertise has been sought after for many assignments across diverse disciplines, each requiring specific knowledge and skill sets. These include film and TV productions, Broadway, Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway shows, live music recording, multi-media museum installations, and a wide variety of musical compositions.
